Bizzuka eBurst is a newsletter designed to help you leverage your Web site to increase business, notify you of enhancements and upgrades made to the software and keep you informed about all the great things happening at Bizzuka.

::Major Software Release: New Toolbar and Enhanced Site Performance

Bizzuka development staff, under the leadership of John Olivier, VP of Systems and Development, have just completed a major, long-anticipated software release. In fact, it's one of the most comprehensive Bizzuka has ever attempted. John and his team worked extremely hard to ensure our customers experienced no down-time or inconvenience.

The release covered two main areas:

  1. Updated administrative toolbar and accompanying buttons
  2. Significant performance enhancements

The decision to create a new toolbar was based on two factors, design and function. "The design of the previous toolbar had become outdated and outgrown," said Shannon Lynd, Senior VP of Production. "We needed something that not only had a more contemporary look, but that functioned better as well."

The second part of the release had to do with performance enhancements. "Our developers went under the hood of our platform and made modifications that significantly reduced server load and increased download speed and overall site performance," stated John Olivier. "All reports from the production team indicate that the sites are MUCH faster and more reliable."

Bizzuka CEO John Munsell called this one of the "best product releases ever at Bizzuka, and we are very appreciative of the work done by the development team."

Bizzuka is proud to be the presenting sponsor at the first-ever event to be hosted in Lafayette by the Louisiana Technology Council.

The event, called "Moving Technology Forward in Lafayette" will be held Thursday, May 15, at LITE (Louisiana Immersive Technology Center) and is an opportunity for members of the Lafayette technology community to meet and hear about the LTC's initiatives for future programs and events in Lafayette.

MS Justice Grillin'

Bizzuka is a major sponsor of the upcoming MS Justice Grillin' fundraising event to be held May 22nd, at River Ranch Town Center in Lafayette.

MS Justice Grillin' is a hamburger cookoff that was started in 2000 within Lafayette's legal community in honor of a local Multiple Sclerosis patient. Since then, it has grown into a huge event and one of the most important fundraisers for the Southwest Louisiana Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
