|
We have immediate openings for skilled ASP.NET programmers.
Our programmers design, develop, implement, and maintain web-based application systems for Bizzuka including administrative interfaces, eCommerce systems, and backend ERP/EDI integration tools.
The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot issues with existing or developed systems, and work with the appropriate resources to resolve them. He/she will have knowledge of HTML, XML, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and C# programming languages; Database experience in MSSQL and/or Oracle.
Essential Functions
- Design ASP prototypes, visual interfaces and interaction of web-based applications as assigned.
- Perform analysis, participate in client requirement sessions necessary for defining web site & backend system requirements.
- Work with business customers and sales personnel to understand client requirements and translate those into actionable and functional design specifications.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user defined needs.
- Define and document web site methodology and data model.
- Interact with Director of Systems & Programming, vendor personnel, and coordinate efforts with external vendors as needed.
- Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Work with other team members to share best practices and lessons learned to continuously improve software development process.
- Implement user interface designs.
- Work with the product development team to design and enhance online user experiences.
- Perform unit testing at the page level and/or class level.
- Review specifications and provide time estimates on the development of projects and features.
- Maintain knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Should have experience with database management (SQL), web development, and high availability architecture.

Experience with the software development life cycle.

Must demonstrate ability to work on multiple tasks with multiple projects, prioritizing workload in a fast changing environment and meeting commitments.
- Familiarity with MS Office products is a must.

Microsoft SQL 2000 experience is a plus. Education
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field but a degree is not required.
- Prefer minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
