The Onebane Law Firm is one of the oldest and most respected law firms in the state of Louisiana. The firm's attorneys provide a broad range of transaction and litigation services to many of the southwest's leading companies, from Fortune 500 industry leaders, to small and family-owned businesses. They are Lafayette's largest firm, with offices in Lafayette and Shreveport.
Onebane had long endured the pain of dealing with a "legal Web provider,” who never honored the terms of their agreement and continually required more money for any revisions requested. Revisions were a timely process, requiring Onebane's submission of the requests (in a "batch” format and only periodically throughout the year) and the necessity of waiting on the "Web provider” to make the changes – which were never what they originally requested.
Onebane's "wish list” for Bizzuka included:
- Redesigning the Web site with a look and feel that was more reflective of the "Acadiana” area and the specific industries the firm represented.
- An Easy and cost-effective method of managing content.
- Web enabling the provision of newsletters, article subscriptions, and seminar information, on-demand.
- Providing clients and potential clients with tools to strengthen client relationships.
Integrate Local Culture with Firm's Representative Industries for an Updated, Professional Web Presence.
The Problem: Onebane wanted a Web presence that was reflective of their offline marketing efforts. They wanted a professional site that would accurately project the firm's image to clients, prospective clients and business partners.
The Solution: Bizzuka worked with Onebane's Marketing Manager to identify the current company image and determine what "viewing paths” the visitors to their site would likely choose. We worked to understand the direction of the firm, in order to determine their goals for future development and marketing.
The Result: Onebane has a new professional site design that complements their current marketing efforts and provides a medium for ongoing growth and development.
Easy and Cost-Effective Method of Managing Content.
The Problem: Onebane wanted an "On Demand” content management solution that would eliminate costly, time-intensive changes to their site. Their previous site was static and changes required the services of their provider, resulting in costly and time consuming services.
The Solution: Bizzuka provided Onebane with a scalable platform that provided their "team” with the capability to manage their site, on their own. Employees from various departments within the firm are able to update Onebane's site quickly and easily, without specialized knowledge or training.
The Result: The elimination of costly and time consuming editing problems. Onebane was able to determine an actual dollar savings of $500.00, monthly in hosting costs and an incalculable amount of savings in time and frustration. Onebane can make changes to the site when they determine necessary and eliminate the 3rd party time lag.
Provide Clients with Newsletters, Article Subscriptions and Seminar Information, On-Demand.
The Problem: Onebane regularly provided their clients and business partners with newsletters, recently published articles and seminars the firm presented. The process was extremely time consuming and frequently outdated by the time it reached the recipient for the intended purpose.
The Solution: Bizzuka provided Onebane with On-demand subscription management for all published materials, as well as on-line management of seminars regularly scheduled by the firm.
The Result: Onebane's clients and business partners have instant access to the most current information published by the firm. Onebane personnel can also track the data via Bizzuka's integration with "Web Trends” data base.
Provide clients and potential clients with tools to strengthen client relationships.
The Problem: Onebane wanted a convenient online solution to marketing the firm's services to their client's clients. Part of Onebane's marketing strategy was to provide their clients with usable materials that could be offered to their client's clients. They needed an efficient, cost effective method of providing that information without incurring exhaustive hours and expense.
The Solution: Bizzuka's on-demand subscription management tools allowed Onebane's clients to retrieve time-sensitive information that they could use for retention and management of their own clients. Onebane was also able to track their client's use of these tools, how often they accessed the information, what links they utilized, for future marketing efforts.
The Result: Onebane has become a more valuable partner for their clients. Their Clients view them as a resource for current information, that can aide them in their client retention efforts.
(Sample: State Director of Nursing Home Administrators receives "e-alert” newsletter from Onebane, updating the implementation of latest "overtime” regulations. State Director sends Onebane's "e-alert” newsletter to all Nursing Home Administrators throughout the state.
Onebane's "e-alert” becomes the authoritative source for information on employment law for Nursing Home Administrators. The result for Onebane is additional clients in a field of law that they are looking to facilitate growth. State Director of Nursing Home Administrators sees Onebane as valuable partner in keeping abreast of latest employment laws.)
Summary: Onebane's central goal was an updated sharper image for the firm's Web presence. An essential element to the new look was the capacity for an extensible content management system, that would allow the firm to easily and cost-effectively manage the site content.
Bizzuka's on-demand component architecture has resulted not only in cost savings, but time and efficiency savings for management and staff. Onebane no longer requires a "Web provider” or "Web designer” to make changes. Any authorized staff member can make changes, reducing Web management costs between 60 and 80 percent.
Onebane can now deliver information to the Web, more efficiently and effectively. The ease of use of Bizzuka's component architecture, allows staff and management the capability to upload data via the browser-based interface, without the necessity of specialized training.
