Children's Hospital Unveils New Website
Lafayette Design Firm Tapped for Major New Orleans Project
January 12, 2011 - LAFAYETTE, LA – Children's Hospital of New Orleans and Bizzuka, Inc. – one of the premier web design, content management, and Internet marketing firms in the United States – are proud to unveil a new website design for Children's Hospital (chnola.org).
Work began on the project in October with the primary objective of updating and upgrading the site to serve the full spectrum of Children's Hospital's community, including physicians, patients, and donors. New features include a special events calendar; a quick links section for important issues (e.g., Emergency Preparedness); prominent tabs for finding a doctor, donating, and other key hospital services.
"The new CHNOLA.com gives a more accurate representation of what Children's hospital is – a cutting edge medical center more than capable of meeting our regional pediatric needs,” said Children's Hospital spokesman Chris Price. "We feel that the site helps us better communicate. It is easy to navigate and allows us a one-stop-spot to provide information to all of our constituents – patient families, the medical community, visitors, donors, friends and guests.”
"New Orleans Children's Hospital's site now reflects the contemporary, first-class facility it is, while also reinforcing its well-respected reputation for medical excellence,” Bizzuka CEO John Munsell said. "We are happy to do our part in making the total website experience the best it can be.”
