  • Workshop & Speaking Booking Agent

Are you the person who can get us in front of audiences who need AI education?

There is a massive need for experience when it comes to integrating AI into a business. Businesses, universities, schools, and non-profit organizations are just beginning to realize they’ve been either sitting on the fence too long or going about AI adoption the wrong way.

That’s where we come in… and that’s where you can help.

We're not looking for order-takers. We're looking for people who want to effect change, who can open doors, build relationships, and close deals that put us in front of rooms full of people ready to learn.

The question is...

Do you know how to position speaking engagements and workshops as investments, not expenses?

We need someone who can secure paid speaking gigs and workshops for us. Not free talks. Not exposure opportunities. Paid engagements where organizations invest real money because they see real value.

Companies are facing a massive paradigm shift. AI is changing how work gets done, and people need education on how to deal with that change. We teach audiences what AI means for them, how to think about it, and how to get their teams excited about it. We show them how their employees can see AI as their accelerator rather than their opponent.

Your job is to get us in front of those audiences. You'll connect with conference organizers, association leaders, corporate training directors, and anyone else who books speakers and facilitators. You'll pitch our expertise, negotiate fees, and close deals that fill our calendar with revenue-generating events.

And when those booked events turn into paid consulting or training engagements, you'll get paid bonuses on that revenue, as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify speaking opportunities at conferences, corporate events, and industry gatherings
  • Reach out to event organizers, associations, and companies that book paid speakers
  • Pitch the INGRAIN AI book, our AI training expertise, and our empowering workshop offerings
  • Negotiate speaking fees and contract terms
  • Maintain relationships with event planners and repeat clients
  • Track opportunities and follow up consistently until you get a yes or a definitive no

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or event coordination
  • Track record of cold outreach and relationship building
  • Comfortable with rejection and persistent enough to push through it
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the speaking industry and how events get booked
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Compensation:

This is a part-time, commission-based role that can grow into a full-time position. You earn when we book paid engagements. Commission structure ranges from 10-20% of the speaking fee, depending on the size and complexity of the booking. A typical workshop or speaking gig runs $15,000 to $25,000+, which means your commissions can range from $1,500 to $5,000+ per booking.

No base salary means no earnings cap. We want people who bet on themselves and have the drive to make things happen.

Work from anywhere. Set your own schedule. Focus your energy when you're most effective.

Qualifications? Here's what we need:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in sales, business development, or event planning
  • Must be a self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding
  • Must be comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails
  • Must have excellent written communication skills
  • Must know how to research events, conferences, and organizations
  • Must understand LinkedIn and how to use it for prospecting
  • Must be organized enough to track multiple opportunities without dropping balls
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • Existing relationships with event planners or conference organizers is a major plus
  • Knowledge of AI or tech topics is helpful but not required

We have a strong bias toward people who have actually booked speakers before or worked in the events industry.

If you can open doors, build relationships, and close deals, upload your rƩsumƩ and click the Submit button. Tell us why you're the person who can fill our calendar with paid speaking opportunities.

  • Must have computer competence in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must know a fair amount about ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or other AI tools, while being eager to learn more
  • Must be eager to learn, teach, grow, serve, innovate, and execute
